Now that the Annual Retreat is over…Read all about it! The final reflections: From: Alex Dankovic: “My favorite part of retreat was when we all went tubing and when we went swimming.”  From Brianna Dushefski: “Retreat 2008: For being my first retreat, it hit me a lot harder than I thought possible.  I’ve met new people and they will always have a place in my heart.  I was planning on coming here and going home the same, but I’ve changed and I will never be the same.  I asked God for forgiveness for the first time and he forgave me.  For the first time, I won’t push God away and I’ll keep Him in my life forever.  My look on life has changed and I thank everyone from the 2008 retreat for being with me through this time because I couldn’t have done it without you guys.  Thank You…’because that’s wuss up baby!’”  From Leslie Wendlowsky: “This year’s retreat was absolutely amazing and life changing.  Before I came to retreat this year, I was confused about many things in my life.  However, after hearing many of the reflections things became clear to me and what I will have to do with my life.  Also making new friends and seeing them change their lives just from being out here for four days was amazing!  It was probably the best retreat I’ve ever went to and that’s saying a lot since I’ve been going since I was 10(yrs old) and I’m 16(yrs old).  I can’t wait until next year and I hope it will be just as amazing!!”  Keep watching for more pictures collages in the narthex—they should be out in the next couple of weeks.

All are invited to attend!  The Our Lady of the Angels youth group is open to all youth ages 10-18.  After this week, the group will take a break for the summer and weekly meetings will start up again after Labor Day in September.  Our group meetings are all about having fun with friends and living out your Christian faith.  If you are a little shy, bring a friend with you!  Parents and grandparents, we invite you to bring your youth and have them try it out for a few visits…every week is a little different and sometimes our youth just need a little push to get to the meetings.

Please continue to pray for all the youth in our parish and your lives!
