This previous weekend… Reflection was run by Ms. Monica and one the teenagers. To start off the night they had the kids read the gospel reading from that day. The story was the one of Jesus dining with the Pharisees and Mary Magdalene cleaning his feet. After they read it they were asked how they judge people and how it affects their relationships with the person and the people around them. They also discussed the positive and negative effects that judging could ensure. The kids and adults shared many of their own experiences of judging whether it is between friend’s or boyfriend’s/girlfriend’s appearances.

New News!  As requested we are now back to having youth group every weekend. The only time there will not be a meeting will be for holiday weekends.

All are invited to attend!  The Our Lady of the Angels youth group is open to all youth ages 10-18.  After this week, the group will take a break for the summer and weekly meetings will start up again after Labor Day in September.  Our group meetings are all about having fun with friends and living out your Christian faith.  If you are a little shy, bring a friend with you!  Parents and grandparents, we invite you to bring your youth and have them try it out for a few visits…every week is a little different and sometimes our youth just need a little push to get to the meetings.
